The Turks and Caicos Telecommunications Commission is hosting a three (3) day workshop scheduled to take place from January 9th to 11th, 2012, Providenciales.
The Commission and its members have embarked on an exciting start for the year, commencing with a workshop with Lauraisa Associates Limited, UK. This Workshop initiative is designed to improved our knowledge and understand of Number Portability.

COMMISSION DECISIONWhile the initiative remains an admirable one, there seems to be no progress on the request that the effort be coordinated with the other operators in Turks and Caicos, and in light of this, the Commission is not prepared to approve the application at this time. It would be prepared to consider the matter if there is any consensus amongst the operators as to how to manage short codes.
